What do they do?

As you guys said that as more mods will be chosen, the no. of active members will decrease
So I just said that It will be true if the members who are active will also become mods. :-\

If we have 12 active members and 9 moderators, we will then have 15 moderators and 12 members if any active member wasn't chossen a moderator. If we chose any number of active members as moderators, then number of active members has to decrease as number of moderators have increased. Simple language.well may be some of the moderates loose there position (not at all sure so no offense at all)
So conclusion is that the ratio of active members to moderators will surely decrease, whatever is the technique of choosing.

We were 21/22 members of the staff and the forum performed BEST during that time. We created newsletter, discussed more issues, got more ideas into the forum, etc.
We only have like 5 active moderators and the rest are inactive. Moderators are very important to the forum..the more we have them, the better our performance gets. =]
