Title: ~A letter in 2070~
Post by: Tohru Kyo Sohma on August 07, 2011, 10:58:54 am

this presentation shows the importance of water in life and how we misuse it to have nothing left in the future
Water makes up more than two thirds of human body weight, and without water, we would die in a few days.
Drinking eight glasses of water daily can decrease the risk of colon cancer by 45%, bladder cancer by 50% and it can potentially even reduce the risk of breast cancer.

"Government makes us pay for the air we breathe,
137 m3 per day per adult person."

"The average life expectancy is 35 years"

God, I felt goosebumps by the time I reached the end of the presentation.  :o

Good job, mimiswift.. for raising awareness.  ;D

We sure don't want our kids to suffer all that mutation.  :P

Back in high-school, when our 'environmental management' teacher used to talk about water shortage, drought, deforestation and say 'our progeny is going to suffer because of us, we would just roll our eyes -.-

A good initiative until you all start planning about your future. Even kids. :P
