No it is not. O level is harder. The GCSE syllabus is getting tougher but GCSEs in England are notoriously easy. O levels which are sat overseas are more designed to weed out the weaker students who would not benefit from further study.

Or is GCE o level syllabus equalvalent to IGCSE?
