Title: How I sent the bailiffs round to Barclay's Bank
Post by: astarmathsandphysics on March 13, 2009, 06:57:57 pm
The bank have taken moeny out of my account 3 times to pay cheques that somebody else has written. They refunded the money, but I requested photocopies of all the cheques drawn on my account so I could be sure I wrote them.
They never sent the photocopies, so I lost it. I took them to court. They never even bothered to reply to the court, so now I have sent the bailiffs round. Pity I cant be there to see them take away the furniture. Given the state they are in right now, a visit from the bailiffs might cause a real panic.

I had a nother delicious moment today when I was cold called from India from someone who claimed to be from my telephone comany who said knew why my windows computer was slow.
Nobody in my house runs windows. We use macs or linux. As you can imagine, the conversation was brief.
