HELP me i did my English exams for IGCSE two times and i keep getting a D, i am sure that this is between 50-60 percentage, i did my IELTS and got 4.5 for writing while i got 7 for Reading, Speaking and listening so please help me with my writing skills because they are really bad and i am sure if i did my English again this May/June 2013 I will get the same marks again. So unless you guys help me to increase my writing skills i will stay all my life in year 11

Actually this is the main problem, I cannot find exactly where my problem is. But any way soon i am going to do an English course, so Hopefully I will find my problem, but nevertheless i still need SF's help. thank you all.

i entered twice english and i got "U" and in speaking i got 1 for both
according to my teachers they said that my speaking and listening are very good but my problem is in writing :/
and i got the same problem which is in writing part
anyhow i hope u could help me as well :)

I have finally found the solution after failing for the second time, i know the solution is late but i was too busy to come over and share my experience, the answer is not practice sadly, because however much u practice u will do the same mistakes over and over gain, the actual solution is actually tutoring.

v Maybe, I did it at 14 and got a C, so decided to re-take it a couple of months later. I think the solution is to do loads of past papers. Also, to try and make it your own piece. Use what they have given you as guidelines, and make up your own ideas surrounding it. I kept this is mind, did loads of past papers and tried to use different vocabulary for common words. I upped my grade from an average C to and A*, so it does work! Seriously :) Good luck to you both, i'll pray for yah ;)

Thank you mal, i got my IGCSE english 1lang extended on the 6th and 8th this november, i hope i pass this time, cause if i dont, the school wont let me do my AS-levels
