Title: Reputation Power?
Post by: HUSH1994 on April 24, 2011, 11:35:03 am: What is the reputation power,i noticed that mine increased when i posted more,is it because of that or because someone added a rep for me?

"Reputation Power" and "Reputation" are different.

You can see your "Reputation" when you view your profile. And reputation power, beside your posts.

50 Reputations = 1 Reputation power.

1 post = 1 Reputation. 50 posts = 1 reputation power.

So, as you can see, spamming is a very slow way to increase your reputation power ::) . Rather, make quality posts and get others to +rep you (not ask, as it goes against the rules).

It changes your reputation on the forum. Conversely, if you meet someone with a high reputation power, you can trust that he/she is well known in the forum and is less likely to have malicious intentions ( ::) ).
