Post by: Freaked12 on June 21, 2010, 03:34:18 pm
Hebrews 4:8-9 (New International Version)
8For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God;

what's the "Sabbath-rest" mean for the people?

Sabbath means seventh in hebrew. Hence the Senventh Rest Day.

God created the world in 7 days and rested on the Sabbath day. Thus, no work should be done on that day; you should rest.

This is shared by christians and Jews alike.
