Yes, it is one of the best public universities in the U.S. Sorry, it is too competitive to get in and if you're an international student, your chances of financial aid are too low as it is a public university.

By the way, what are your grades? Have you taken the SAT and what are your scores?

Yes,I know this topic was long ago.
But still for those wanting to apply to UCB;
If you are still sophomore or junior in high school,join clubs, work in communites,get credits,try to involve yourself in various activities.

Take SAT in your junior and repeat it( if you want in senior) to increase your score.
essays play a very important role,
Your overall performance in all fields play a very imp role.It just isn't your academics they look into.

I got accepted into the community college that if You get the required GPA,you will be accepted into U of C at Berkeley.

Apart from the fact that it will cost a fortune, alongside the living expenses, yes it's a good college. I don't think it's worth the money tbh since you get at least the same quality education at a top 5 British University for less than half the cost. To get in you need the same things as most other good unis in the state, SATs, SAT 2, extra curriculars, good GPA/A Levels.
