Is Music Purely For Relaxation?

It can be for philosophy too. eg. melancholy songs, songs of lost love and other bla bla blahs. :P

3. Music provides a safe, structured setting for verbal and non-verbal communication.

5. Music provides both structure and freedom through the use of form and improvisation.
6. Music provides a meaningful, enjoyable context for repetition.
7. Music activities encourage social interactions.
8. Music is an effective memory aid.
9. Music supports and encourages movement.
10. Music taps into memories and emotions.
11. Music provides nonverbal, immediate feedback.
12. Music activities are easily adapted to each person's abilities.
13. Music interventions can be designed to be success-oriented.
14. Music uses concrete concepts that are easily demonstrated and understood - fast & slow, up & down, loud & soft, long & short, etc.
15. Music activities utilize many senses at the same time to enhance the learning experience - hearing, seeing and feeling

I doubt music is an effective memory aid. It definitely doesn't assist me in my memory.
