Dont worry, nothing matters but your career. I bet you've been focusing on it a lot. Mom calls technology a distraction and an excuse to avoid studies. I've started to realise it and starting to limit my usage of mobile, tv, computer etc. People will start giving you importance when you are a successful person in the future. Better to gain popularity/fame and enjoy life then rather than now.
