The medium and the concept of Facebook is itself great enough. They are serving their responsibility well enough. Microsoft sells millions of office and windows CDs. Microsoft has MILLIONS of enemies. Their softwares are pirated like free stuffs. Does the Microsoft assumes the "responsibility" of burning those people who uses pirated product alive?! Bill Gates doesn't even care if his products are pirated in China and other developing countries. Because he knows, there will always be opposers, no matter how great something is.

Where am I drifting away...?
We are talking of Facebook, the 'Utopia' where freedom of expression really does reign on the virtual world, which is the replica of the press in the real world.
For those who don't know, the press is considered as the 4th power in a democracy, after the legislative, executive, and judiciary. And it is this press only that helps nations to rid of bias politicians, inflated megalomaniacs, discriminatory worms, senators for whom before their own selfish interests come nothing at all. The independent (course) press is the lantern that reveals most, if not all, of their under the table and in-the-dark, activities. And Facebook is also a medium of doing the same exposure. Politicians is one example I gave, there are many others if you look around well.
There are little chances of drifting away from the topic in a debate. You must have heard of the butterfly effect... A butterfly flapping its wings in Tokyo can influence the weather in California. :)
