You should know that the scale is in cms..So the ratio is
i)1:20 000 000
12:x
x=240 000 000 cm
=2400km
ii)area will be (1)2 : (20 000 000)2
                    13:y
y=5.2*1015 cm2
=52000 Km2

b)i)1 : 5 000 000
 n = 5 000 000
