can anyone tell me what are the advantages of taking english as a first language .... i need to make my decision fast and i am very much confused....any suggestion!!

i have already given english as a secong language and it was amazing!! :P

For entry to universities in the UK, IGCSE First Language English can be used to satisfy the English requirment of the insitution.

I think you get more UCAS points for doing IGCSE than GCSE.

Instead of using the tariff system, unis would specify particular grades required for GCSE on their admission webpage. However, for certain universities including the London School of Economics and Political Science, don't even think about it if you do not have at least 6 A* under your belt ...

I am intended to read Economics at King's College, Cambridge.
