Gives me the same. I think you need to open the quote in a new tab. Then might as well type it and post it there and then itself.

I use firefox. See when I click "Quote" having the quick reply tab open at the bottom the following green bar appears .. Any idea?

I use Firefox too... And it's the same version. Except that mine is not green.

Turn off the quick reply and the quote button will work absolutely fine or else open the quote in a new tab.
