Textbook for Computer Studies

Can anyone advise a good book for the Computer book??? I have the NCC book but alot of it isn't included in the syllabus..and the Cambridge guide which is really brief..

Use Information Technology and Computer studies by Leadbetter and Wainwright. Its endorsed.

try these they are r really helpful:-

1). INtroduction to Computer Studies by Noel Kalicharan (CXC and Cambridge Editions are both good)
2). GCSE Study Guide Computer Studies by Tony Rackham
3). Information Technology GCSE Workout Series

the 1st one is best for everything for e.g. definitions, explanations and examples
the second and third are also vvvvvvv very goodd!!

I am using Information Systems for you third edition by Stephen Doyle. Is it a good book?
