How do u do this???

What amount of solute ions, in moles, is present in 50cm3 of 0.10moldm3 sodium hydroxide solution?

united2win:
ok m8 dead easy....

In simple the question is asking you to calculate the number of moles present in 50cm³ of 0.10dm³ solution of sodium Hydorxide

so you must be familiar with the pyramid Moles = conc x vol (dm³)

therfore moles = 0.1 x (50)/(1000)

                    = 0.005 Moles
