emi:
for now i have 2 Questions from past papers .

O/N 04 paper 6  page 2
i;ve always had problems with solving Questions like these , calculating actual size and stuff

if any one could tell me how to do Q1 part a)  (i) & (ii)

Another Question i wanted ask was , in may/june 2008  in the last page
the Question where we had to name the parts of the kidney something and its function .
that kind of Question and diagram i never saw it or studied it in any of my biology books

i have these books for bio
1)  IGCSE study guide for biology   ( by Dave hayward )
2) Igcse Biology (by Mary Jones)

BUT i did find it in my GCSE books
1) GCSE Biology by B.S Becketts PG 113-115  ( this is the best book its soo detailed and nice  but im afraid it got things that are not in out syllabus so i dnt rly know wat to study )
2)GCSE biology by D.G mackean

so i was wondering why its not in the IGCSE books while it is in GCSE books ?

Its so easy its in the syllabus. Our then if you find it difficult use the IGCSE Letts revision guide its the best.
Note: the glomerulus is for filtration, the bowmans capsule is for absorption and the collecting duct is to pass the urine to the pelvis.
