no...u are allowed to write...but it should look neat....thats y blank pages are given....and i have read in many examiner reports that they identify the capable students from those who are not,, by looking at the number of lines and if they exceed the lines or no in the long questions and if they know much to write....
Good luck  ;)

lol I usually write a line extra beneath each question because my handwriting is so big

Got Tech? GO TECH:
I think they allow a line or two judging by the size of your handwriting. I have a friend who has huge font, and usually writes at least 3 or 4 lines after the lines have finished.

Future candidates can be advised
that it is acceptable to continue answers beyond the lines into empty spaces and onto blank pages, provided
that the number of the question being attempted is made clear to the Examiner.

I just read this now over here : http://www.xtremepapers.net/CIE/Cambridge%20IGCSE/0680%20-%20Environmental%20Management/0680_w05_er.pdf
