i had my math paper 3 today and i stupidly wrote everything in pencil -_-
so i told the invigilator and she called up the biritsh council and they said to give me 5 extra minutes to write over it in pen.
i wrote over the answers in pen and for the questions were we had to prove/show something i wrote the whole thing in pen, but the working for all other questions is in pencil.
is that okay?

i did the same in chemistry practical..but managed to overwrite with pen.  :P
