This was already on the forums..
here they are..best of luck for the exams! ;)

Since we are all giving our exams in May/June now, I don't think we'll mind exploring / researching on our doubts; especially in Biology.

Here are a few websites for A level Biology:

[[EDIT]]: A very good website made by a student (FULL OF NOTES) - http://www.biology-innovation.co.uk/

For videos:

http://www.goldiesroom.org/video_archive.htm

http://intranet.wellingtoncollege.org.uk/page.aspx?id=4911

--

1. Spolem

www.spolem.co.uk

An excellent site for A level biology - especially genetics!

2. Guide to Molecular Biology

www.rothamsted.bbsrc.ac.uk

This site is a good introduction to molecular biology and a good revision aid. Simple yet effective!

3. DNA from the Beginning

www.dnaftb.org

The science behind each concept is explained by: animation, image gallery, video interviews, problem, biographies, and links.

4. Cells Alive

www.cellsalive.com

All the cells imaginable with great pictures and information to download at your pleasure.

5. Introduction to the Bacteria

www.ucmp.berkeley.edu

US site that's great for A-level students; with sections on the importance, classification and morphology of this fascinating subject.

6. NASA

www.nasa.gov

Yes that's right. Interesting science pages from the US government agency.

7. New Scientist

www.newscientist.com

Online Journal.

8. Science Daily

www.sciencedaily.com

Online Journal.

9. Human Biology Help

www.biologyguide.net

Offers you powerful revision notes which have been written and designed for every section in the AQA A-level Human Biology syllabus. A-Level students studying specifications from other boards may still find this site useful, as the major topics from all exam boards are similar.

10. Biology Links from Harvard University

mcb.harvard.edu

There's an awful lot here - give it a try.

11. CSU BioWeb

arnica.csustan.edu

Mainly for teachers. Consolidates existing biological science teaching and research resources and creates and distributes original multimedia resources for the teaching of biology. Brilliant!

12. Mr Williams' Biology

www.geocities.com

Unit notes and study sheets. Give it a go.

13. Zero Bio

www.execulink.com

This is a really great site for students, teachers and anyone interested in biology. Have fun!.

14. National Association of Biology Teachers

www.nabt.org

US site aiming to empower educators to provide the best possible biology and life science education for all students.

15. A-level Biology theory

www.mrothery.co.uk

Very detailed - useful as a back up to textbooks during the course, but not great to use during revision due to long paragraphs.

16. S-Cool

www.s-cool.co.uk

A great site with clear and easy to follow notes - ideal for revision.

17. Arkive

www.arkive.org

This website provides detailed audio-visual profiles of animal species – the mixture of video footage and text makes it a fascinating place to browse and learn.

18. Reminder from ruby92: http://www.biologymad.com/

Also, try this (suggested by sweetest angel):
if any of you is aaware of this site: thinkwell.com
you have to pay a sum of approx 140$ for the videos but sme dude has uploaded 'em on this site for free  www.5min.com
go to this link for the syllabus of videos offered : http://www.thinkwell.com/student/product/biology
check the table of contents and click on each topic to preview the subheadings
it has got everything in biology Alvl but i hvent cheked out chem 'nd phy.
note: type the title from the syllabus into the search engine of the 5min.com and click on the video only with "thinkwell" in the description. its amazing teaching videos.

Bio As notes

Hope it helps you'll in the long run

Also imp, these notes are secondary sources of learning. Make sure you read your textbook well before going through notes, whether they are mine or anyone else's. Notes are for Revision & not to be used as your first Learning material.

Good Luck

So the first one's up- Respiration
