This is getting way to complicated.
the reason CIE shifted the timings from 9 am to 11 am and from 1 pm to 3pm for afternoon session is that most almost all of the exams around the world end at this period of time.
i Just saw the newsletter today infront of the examination hall

Worriyo:
i think the paper wasnt THAT easy as all of you say.. really tricky..if you didnt read properly easy marks would have been lost...
anyways i have several questions ...

what did u guys write for questions 1-3

and what about the 2 questions concerning the heart... one with the electircal impulse diagram nd the other talking about the a heart disease in which the semi lunar valve where damaged or something like that...

also there was a question about seive tube elements in photosynthesising plants and in actively growing roots... ??
finally... question 40..???

if you guys could answer my questions above that would be more than great....   :)

1. D (xylem then nucleolous then ribosome.

2. C (you cant see the ER because they are very close to each other and light microscope has low resolution)

3. i put A, i dont know if its right. though i know its either A or C

question about heart it was P and T

for the valve one i put A about tendons, but alot of people put C.

for the seive tube question it was low water potential and sucrose leaving.

and q40. it was B as i remember. same community and same trophic level, NOT same habitat and NOT same niche.

:D

thx alot man :D
really helper me out here....
what other difficult questions where there ??

Ykov:
I put sucrose entering the roots rather than leaving simply because the leaves are usually the source, where glucose is converted to sucrose and carried to the sink, usually storage organs or organs that are actively respiring and growing such as the fruits, the roots and the apical stems and in this case, they mentioned actively growing roots. Yeah, water potential is low because of mass flow and also increasing sucrose concentrations.
