CIE Geography has very low passing rate
« on: May 01, 2010, 07:41:59 pm »
I found that CIE AL Geography has very low % of candidates can get C or about. For example:
In June 2009, Grade C or above at AL Geography:
CIE = 28.9%
Edexcel (Geography A) = 82.9%

Could someone tell me why? Is it fool to take CIE (at a harder way)?

CIE is not that hard - in fact the passing grade is lower than 40ish% of the raw score, I think people aren't getting high marks because it's not that widely taught in schools.
