hmmm i have a different question.....its not about reducing sugar its something else...Thanks u for trying to help....maybe u have got the year wrong

the question is .....Describe how you would compare the rate of uptake of the colored solution by the plant in fig 1.1 with another plant that had its roots cut off.....do we have to write the experiment or the precautions like same temperature etc.....mark scheme is confusing

for whoever is asking about o/n2006 Q1 c:
two plants of the same species having the same number of leaves one with roots and the other without each are put in a beaker containing the same volume of coloured solution under the same environmental conditions the water loss from the beaker per unit time is measured in both and results are compared
