hey guys, what does enthalphy changes of vaporisation means?
n why does its related to indicate the relative strength of
hydrogen bonds between the molecules in liquid Hydrogen halide?

the enthalpy of vaporisation is the energy change required in order to form 1 mole of vaporised products............. now as we know when something vaporises INTERMOLECULAR FORCES ARE BROKEN...... now in  hydrogen halides there is presence of dipole-dipole forces between molecules which are broken during vaporisation and thus if the enthalpy change is more positive then the bonds must have been more stronger......

hope it helps thx :P
