CIE AICT HARD ?
« on: May 08, 2010, 06:53:10 pm »
Is AICT (CIE) Hard ?  I saw the grade threshold for last year, and it is quite low. 46/80 for A
Many friends who known as smart people got like Cs and Ds last year.

Is it really hard ?

Many of them my teacher said have maths on the same day
so predictablly they will think maths as way more tough th*n ICT as a subject so they tend to concentrate more on the mathematical side of things

In a way, its not THAT hard ... but I guess the reason for the low grade threshold is that although, we do know our stuffs, its a matter of APPLYING it to scenarios that caused us a disaster. Also, its is the amount of time we are given - freaking 75 mins is so not enough time!!

I did AS last year and I just happened to get 46 - yeah, was very lucky ;D and even if you messed up theory, practical (which is worth more - 60%) will bring your grade up.
