hey....i did ig physics last yr n m not taking phy atm.....i no da answers but im not 100% sure....i wud advise you 2 just use da mark scheme in such questions :)

dw dat much about phy p6.....all da best :)

Adzel:
May/June 2004 - ANS Q1 b) - Remove the electrodes from beaker.
                                      - Make the electrodes fixed so they cannot move.
                                      - Measure the lengthbetween them, and return them slowly inside the beaker.

                                  c) Temperature

May/June 2004 - ANS Q3 c) ii) The question says "Complete Fig. 3.1 by drawing in the voltmeter and the ammeter, using conventional
                                          symbols." So no variable resistor is required (see Attached)

May/June 2008 - ANS Q1 b) (see atached) - Place pin above 10.0 mark on rule, put cylinder ontop of the pin and remove the pin slowly.

May/June 2008 - ANS Q2 - Statement is yes, How to justify - circuit 1 resistors are connected in parallel, while circuit 2 two are conncted in series.

Guys this paper is May/ June 2009 and the question 5 b) is hitting my head.
The answer in the markscheme is :-

* Readings taken at either side/diameter of cylinder
* Position of mid point found
* Mark position of centre
Please give me this answer in a diagram if possible !
thank you
