How to justify validity +reliability of results?
This might sound like a stupid question, but I m not sure how to tackle this for a lab report.I did a searh on google+TSR+SF & found nothing.

For the reliability I have come up with this : The experiment was repeated twice making the results more reliable.

To justify the validity,I ve no clue how to word it.
This is for the effect of heat on membranes.

Rep for your help.
Thanks

Validity refers to the technique and apparatus used for collecting the data. A valid experiment is one that fairly tests the hypothesis. In a valid experiment all variables are kept constant apart from those being investigated, all systematic errors have been eliminated and random errors are reduced. Reliability refers to repeatability or consistency of results. In terms of second hand sources reliability refers to how trustworthy the source is.

To make an experiment valid, measuerments have to be accurate meaning that the apparatus need to be the most accurate ones available, also variables need to be controlled, for the effect of heat on cell membranes the variables that need to be controlled inculde pH, Concentration and volume of solution. This is what i got from my bio teacher  ;D

Do any of you have any tips for analysing graphs, some tips can I got from here: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?p=26347179&highlight=graph
,but if you have anything to add, that would be great.
+rep :)
