put 3x - 1 as x in eqn 1 ..u'll get it

(3x -1) - 1

they hv asked f-1f(x)
so u hv to substitute the value of f(x), that is 3x-1, in the equation f-1(x)

it's question 18) part a) amd b) ...how do we get the numbers "cuz i saw the m.s. but i still haven't understood it yet , u see"

Frequency Density = Frequency / Class Width.

Rearrange the formula to get : Class Width * Frequency Density = Frequency

For part (b) you may also make use of the aforementioned formula.

it means that u should use same forumla. Frequency/class width=Frequency Density. (class width=6-4=2.... Frequency=8 babies) So 8/2=4. Just draw it...

I have stumbled upon a slight issue in solving one of the Paper 4's, could someone please explain how to go about solving this ?
