The unit for the speed was already given.

mdwael:
really? *phew* what a relief I dont remeber writing it so thank god it was already given..
By the way how much marks does the "time in minute and seconds" question carry, it was about that elevator in the snow or something the ii part, I got it wrong :( and I got the equation of line wrong and the midpoint wrong how much do you the marks total which I lost?

i think i just multiplyed by 1000 cuz theres 100 cm in 1 metre. and then theres 10 mm in 1 cm .. so yeah.. i dunno.:S ???
and i dont take english lang.. cuz i did my math igcse one year earlier (this year) when im supposed to do it next year but the teacher was like no do it this year.. soo yeah.. thts why im sorry i cant help u on the english.. cuz im not doing english earlier.. and its probably late.. isnt the exam like over?? if it is.. then how did it go?????

Let me sum this up for you so you'll understand it better,

take 1 square meter, 1 square meter which has side 1 meter has an area of:
m x m =m^2

since one meter is 1000 mm changing from m^2 to mm^2 involves the following;

m x m = 1000mm x 1000mm = m^2
so you just had to multiply it by 1000000 and youll get an answer of 1.67 x 10^7

--- End quote ---
Mid-point Coordinates : [(X + X1) / 2 ) ,(Y + Y1) / 2 )]

Gradient of Parallel Lines are the same. So a line with equation y = -3 x + 14 will have a grdient of - 3 and y-intercept at (0, 14).

It went okay, I'm doing all my exams earlier too, though the question was a bit tough, I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out what they were saying  :-[
