Can someone explain how i would approach these problems (i'm doing past papers):

There is a a 3d picture of a shape with measurements on it.  Below that is a squared area with the shape not in it 2d format.  The question is about 'net' drawings - unfortunately i have never covered this as i was on a weeks math course and a week is a short time to squeeze the entire syllabus into!

Secondly - a picture of a straightline, marked A - B and the length is given.  The question asks to put a boundry of a specific length around the line.  What shape should the boundry be?  Some people say a square, some a cirlce, some say it doesn't matter, a sqaure or a circle will suffice!!!

Thanks!
