For this when u reciprocate 1/2x^-5/2
u get 2x and +ve x^5/2 and the sign changes to multiplication..

for eg (1/2)^-1  is simply 2 .. same rule applies here

so u get

-- x^3/2  *  2x ^ 5/2
8

on adding the powers (as 5/8 x  and 2 x are multiplied) and simplifying

u get

Find the number of nanoseconds in 5 minutes, giving your answer in standard form.

I multiply 10^9 x 5 x 60 = My calculator say 3x10^12. But in mark scheme its 3x10^11????

Plz help :S :S

Therefore : 5y= K, Hence K*51

Thus the answer derived is = 5k
