I did it in my copy but I couldn't read my writing :P. One more thing, if coefficient of x^2 isn't 1 then we first divide every number in the eq. by it????? :(

Yes, the whole thing, I believe, just like completing square method.

Umm, parallel lines have the same gradient i.e coefficient of x. So... m=2.
3 is the y intercept. So, B (0, 3)

AB is 7.
7-3 = 4.
So, at B, y value is -4.
So c= -4

y=mx + c
y=2x -4
