Q8.

b) i) Bottles: Total money/money per bottle
                  60.30/0.45 (45 cents = 0.45 dollars)

ii) Since both are cents, simply write the equation.  x/45
iii) x-75/48

iv) Now, the number of bottles sold on tuesday were 7 more than on wednesday. Than means, wednesday lacked 7 to be equal to tuesday.
So in the eq, you give wednesday 7 more, to make it equal to tuesday. Then you put an equality and form an equation!
So  No. of bottles sold on tuesday = no. of bottles sold on wednesday + 7
          x/45  = x-75/48  +  7

48x - 15120 = 45x - 3375
x=3915

8 b) iv) easy !!

x/45 - 7 = x - 75/46

x-315/45 = x-75/48

interchange denominators

48 ( x - 315) = 45 ( x - 75)

48x - 15120 = 45x - 3375

3x = 11745

x=3915

comon wats wrong with u !!
