I remember I was the ONLY anime watcher in this forum 2 years back and look at this thread! Got many watchers and pages already.

Okay, I didn't like Ouran..it was funny but a bit childish.

My fav is Vampire Knight, We were there, Honey and Clover.

Any other recommendations you people have ?

I saw the first few episodes of Kaichou wa maid sama and I didn't like it. Felt like it is also a bit not for my age.

I was about to watch Special A but I didn't. As for Lovely complex..I see this recommended everywhere!

I watched Trust and Betrayal >> a good one with a very sad ending though.

Watch Myself and Yourself and it wasn't that special. Also watched Suzuka which wasn't that interesting.

Genre >>> Romance, bits of comedy, bits of drama, shojo, slice of life

I dislike fantasy stuff, yaoi, yuri, Seinen, Ecchi.

i dislike all that you mentioned,but somethings have ecchi and still amazing,like highschool of the dead(ecchi alone is gross) ;)
@baaka :P :nice ending but nothing beats lovely complex ending 1,one piece ending 17 and bleach ending 27,these 3 are amazing ;)

@Iluvme, I think you got mistaken between it and another anime. Kaichou wa maid sama is about some girl joining this school full of mostly guy, being their president but works as a maid at the same time.

I couldn't stop laughing while watching that and the characters are just AWESOME! ;D

I highly recommend it and 1st episode is fine- it gets much better as the show goes on! (=
