nope
Polarization-The partial or complete polar separation of positive and negative electric charge in a nuclear, atomic, molecular, or chemical system.
Electronegativity- A property of an atom which increases with its tendency to attract the electrons of a bond.
Metallicnak:
So in other words :- polarisation takes place in ionic compounds allowing metals to attract thier lost electrons back from the anion which leads to a change from its lattice enthalphy as the compound is slightly covalent on the otherhand electronegativity is the effect that takes place in a covalent bond where one of the atoms attract the electrons more towards itself leading to the formation of a polar bond.
So is this definition right ???
