m planning to go to alexandria university...

anybody heard anything abt it?guud or bad??

i went there and the buildings are new,lecturers are experienced and quite satisfied abt it....

The funny thing is,they have 700 students for medicine....

but 600 are malaysians... :P

others are from saudi,nigeria and etc...

comments please...

wow...that's a local uni. As in you enter medicine with the highest grades and scores.

Why not Cairo University then? or Ain Shames Uni? They both come first then Alexandria Uni.

And will you live there alone?

its just that ppl think they r better. alex uni had a higher score for acceptance for medicine, dental and pharmacy last year, more than that of ain sham's and cario's
anywho am going to alex for medicine (InShaa2Allah) next year alone.

@ mony...

abt alex univ,i went there and didnt see any egyptian students in the faculty of medicine....

i asked my friend,he said there is but a little...less than 10...

abt ain shams,i went there too...buildings r very old and too crowded....i joined the lecture once and it was quite ok....

cairo university is toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo crowded....i dont like the location...its in the middle of town....and it took me literally one hour to get there when i was on the nile bridge....and from the nile bridge to cairo university is abt 400 meters...

i prefer to go to alex....it's more calm,not too much traffic....

the people there are also nicer...in cairo, i got tricked many times by the people there...they are not friendly,so many liars there....dont like it....

i think i'm staying  there alone....my parents r going there this summer inshaAllah to submit my application....

By the way,which part of egypt r u from??

I am from Cairo. Yes, true. Cairo is getting so crowded nowadays. Actually ALL of Egypt is getting crowded! =O We are 80 000 000 now I guess!
