Standard Booklets?
« on: March 19, 2010, 11:02:50 pm »
Hi guys,
I am looking for "Standard Booklets" from CIE for AS/A2 Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths. They are published by CIE and I could not find them on the freeexampapers website. It is mentioned in this publications catalogue from CIE below ( pg. 57,58) :

http://www.cie.org.uk/docs/profiles/teachers/CIE%20Publications%20Catalogue%20March%202010.pdf

If anyone has it, may you please upload it! :) Thank you!

I do not have the CIE ones, but I had the physics AS & A2 one for OCR (which is >90% similar to CIE).

Here's Physics : https://studentforums.biz/index.php/topic,6082.0.html

I have Biology too (OCR), it covers the whole syllabus EXCEPT applications. I will upload that sometime soon. Please remind me via pm or something.

no. i have the applications support booklet. its a different booklet, it's for each subject. basically, it has sample answers and marks awarded;if not why not awarded?; comments, specimen questions on alterations ( new parts) in the syllabus...etc.

If your doing CIE physics there is a standards table at the beginning of every paper 1 and 2 so have a look at that. I have the chemistry data booklet for CIE, I will scan it to you over the weekend cause now im doing mocks so i kinda have to study tonight.

I think ppl are not getting what a standard's booklet is. CIE prints standards booklet that only teachers and centres are privy to. In those booklet they print some answers of randomly selected candidates from previous yrs. They comment on their answers and explain why they gave them the designated grades.
