FYI..I didn't write that :P I have this word doc where I put down quotes I like from newspapers and from the net ....and then I use them later 8) :P

...And guess what!.. Who's the greenest? India!

India ranked number 1 amongst various nations because of its low car density (12 per 1000 people, US-765 per 1000 ppl.), healthy diet etc.

And they say urbanization is good. I think this is our rank because of all the villages/hill stations/tourists places that we have. Also because of the huge number of population which results out our low  car : human ratio .. Also this survey is amongst only 17 countries and is determined by index covering goods, food, housing, transport and attitudes. Which honestly does not meet more than half of the pop. BUT still we top.
