INPUT/HARDWARE .. Motion sensor , pressure sensor , Pressure pads ,light sensors , contact switches ,proximity sensors ..

PROCESSING : processor always monitors the input/environment , if any traces of pressure (on the plates) or movement or light or any vary in temperature .. micro processor sends a signal to an output device ..

OUTPUT : alarm light with alarm sound

False. "Any traces" wold be insubmissable.

For instance if it is a five marks question, the model answer would be as follows.

- Microprocessor constantly monitors the analogue signal.
- Analogue signal is compared with preset value at real time.
- If pressure reading on the pressure pad is less than preset value, no action.
- If pressure reading on the pressure pad exceeds preset value, signal is sent to the output device.
- The output device in this case would be a silent alarm sent to the police (buzzer / light) - You can gain two marks by writing two different outputs.
