I can give you some points on privatization and how could it happen and the effect of privatisation on the social and economic structure :-)

In countries where politics and state interventionism play a significant role, privatization contributes to improve the economy be changing the national economy's structure. The economy gets de-nationalized and the state owned sectors now become privately held. This also triggers many other responses such as change in corporate governance, employee representation etc.
