i know, me too, i know that B is the best solvent, but why not water? I think its D because it can dissolve a wide range of things, and the alchohol both has london forces as well as dipole.

Cyclohexanol is supposed be a deliquescent solid....which implies water should be the solvent....but since ur teachers say B, I will also clarify
