Captcha code broken on vbulletin
« on: February 26, 2010, 08:22:30 pm »
vbulletin is maybe the most used - and paid for - software.
The captcha code, which is the picture that people have to decipher has been broken and robots are free to register.

astarmathsandphysics, astute, cei84352, Chengxu98, chjuanzu, emmelove02, furtick01, gene80, jkatie455, lanzudas, moaid123, ooaewiw72, seothriller, thebitbotdotcom, xuexiaos, xuq97789, yoguzuss, yqngjuanx, yunxing23, Zhanna, zouweia1

Of the 21 members above maybe 15 are robots - see the almost random names.

Its not all. Only those who fail to upgrade to the latest version. See this. No example of spambots. This forum has all bots disabled and has been upgraded to the latest version.
