I am inb urgent need for help in Hydrocarbon In AS LVL. Any help in form of links, site or anything will. I dont understand Hydrocarbon at all, specially how to convert from "ONE FUNCTIONAL GROUP TO OTHER"

If you would specify exactly what board u r under that would be helpful!

If it is edexcel, the edexcel book is the best thing to study from, I find it amazing!

Other than that, there is s-cool, just type it into google and u'll get sth.

they will help you in knowing what hydrocarbons form when...

like

i know that if you add bromine water to ethene you will form 2-bromoethanol

and if you add ethene to bromine liquid you get 1,2-dibromoethane
