Hi, can someone plz tell me what the usual threshold for an A* in IGCSEs is? Someone who`s had experience with this, someone who`s got them or just knows... I know it depends on a threshold, that`s all everyone tells me, I would like to know what it was like last year, or the year before, if you have info... Some say above 90%, some say it`s above 80%... I`m confused :-\
I know it`s annoying, but I`d like to get a basic idea :)
Thx... :P

Think you posted in the wrong threads. This is for paper requests only.
Anyways, to answer your question. The general grade for A* is 85% but it varies years after years and it depends on the subject you're taking. The top 10% of the people doing a subject will get A*. The grade boundary will be determined by the lowest score of those people achieving A*.
