I guess the question being argued upon doesn't require anything abt permeability...I guess the issue is, large molecules cannot be broken down before intake in case of the skin..and since from the skin, substance would go directly into the blood stream and then assimilation, molecules should be in their constituent states(e.g as amino acids or glucose,fructose), which cannot be done unless the constituents are ingested directly...the skin doesn't have any enzymes to break molecules...

Permeability is also valid...but it isn't that the skin is impermeable...it can definitely take in stuff

A thought i should share this....lemme knw if u need details...i will let u knw
