Sue T:
its a past paper question
MJ 06 paper 2
question 7 (b)

in the mark scheme it says:
shorted lamp A would cause damage to the supply/lamps
/blow fuse in supply

i dunno y theyre talkin bout lamp A now  ???

astarmathsandphysics:
Lamp A is in series with Lamps B and C so the current through A is the sum of the currents through B and C. Lamp A will probably be the most likely to be damaged.

ive got the same doubt i dont get it either ???

astarmathsandphysics:
The only way from one supply terminal to the other is through lamp A. It will experience max current so be most likely to blow.
