recomended book for physics and chemistry

hi,

plz recommend me any good for a level physics and chemistry...i am currently using longman advanced physics and some other book but need some better to study for the As exams coming ahead..

so pls mention the author name also

-) Advanced Level Physics by Nelkon & Parker
-) International AS/A Level Physics by Chris Mee, Mike Crundell and Brian Arnold
-) Bath Advanced Science: Physics by Robert Hutchings

For Chemistry:
-) Chemistry in Context by Graham Hill and John Holman
-) Advanced Chemistry by Philip Matthews

What is the best one for physics between these 3? and also, what is the best book for biology for most people in both subjects?

I hope i get a reply as soon as possible as im going to start studying AS first time for may/june!

Studying from only one book won't cover up all the syllabus. You can select one of the books, from those that I mentioned in the above post, which you find easy to comprehend as a core book and study it. When you are done with it then consult other books as reference and to cover up the areas that weren't touched in the book you were studying earlier.

For Biology:
-) Biological Science by D.J. Taylor, N.P.O. Green and G.W. Stout 
-) AS/A Level Biology by Mary Jones, Richard Fosbery, Dennis Taylor  and Jennifer Gregory
