integration is easy for c1 anyway. Always add one to the power and divide by the new power. Just be methodical.

a tip guyz - remember how to sketch the inverse of any weird curve too using the y=x method. may turn out very useful.

Slvri, Aadi is right... 500 km/h is the velocity of the plane relative to the wind. When you are looking for the time taken, you use the RELATIVE/RESULTANT velocity... Which must be parallel to the line AB here...

True velocity of the plane in still air is not the same as the velocity with which it is actually moving when the force of the wind is acting on it.
