why doesnt cie return our exam papers

Well Easy answered. Imagine the costs involved in paying for postage and handling in the attempt to send ur exams back to you. CIE is an international examination and that means exams would have to be sent from your school to be marked in the UK (a huge cost) then located sealed, and sent, individually back to you in where ever in the world you live. It's not like they can keep the cost down like they do when sending them (Exam scripts) all together to be marked, instead individually sending them back is a massive expense.

They dont need to do that. They can be scanned and returned electronically.
