u just have to remove the hydrogen from both side and continue it from both side.....this will show an ester grouping which is what a carbohydrate is made up of....

it does not matter whether it i glucose or ethene

u simply break the double bond.

then extend it past the brackets

then put n at the end.

thats all there is to it.
